🇺🇸🇮🇶 The PMU-affiliated Sabreen News channel has published footage purportedly showing the U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft breaking apart as it goes down over western Iraq, following what Iraqi resistance groups claim was a successful missile strike against the aircraft. CENTCOM has confirmed the loss of the aircraft but maintains the cause was not hostile fire. The footage, if verified, directly contradicts that assessment.

An unknown aircraft, possibly a U.S. or Israeli surveillance drone, crashed tonight in the desert to the southwest of Baghdad in Eastern Iraq.
