Syrian tribes primarily in Daraa (southern Syria) have declared a general mobilisation and Jihad against Israel - reason for the mobilisation is the recent law passed by the Israeli government which permits the death penalty for Palestinian prisoners. The Israeli military launched flares in the border region - tensions are definitely rising. The Syrian government has deployed a number of forces and will likely deploy more to establish a barrier between the border and the Syrian forces.
