NEW: Booking photo of Texas soldier Savion Johnson—Arrested for human smuggling. Per @BenacciMatt with Kinney County Sheriff’s Office: “The Val Verde Processing Center is the regional facility where individuals arrested in connection with Operation Lone Star are briefly held and magistrated before being transferred to more permanent lock ups in Dilley, TX and the Rio Grande Valley. Sheriff Brad Coe has said that it is not uncommon for individuals with surprising backgrounds to get caught up in smuggling and cartel corruption. Over the last three years, the County has seen priests, teachers, other servicemen and women, and at least one attorney get caught trafficking.  It's also very common for Border Patrol and US Customs agents to be caught by their confederates while trafficking.  It's something that's always come with the territory, with folks being seduced by the prospect of easy money.”

For those asking where the illegal immigrant is that Johnson was attempting to smuggle—Sources confirm Johnson slowed down and allowed the undocumented individual to bail on foot—Border Patrol stopped and apprehended him. DPS then took over the chase and spiked Johnson’s SUV bringing it to a stop.

Now wait until you find out about the Border Patrol agents who knowingly let 1000s of kilos of drugs go right through their checkpoints. It’s all scheduled and they rotate. They know which cars to avoid ahead of time, and they also send “bait” cars so the BP can still make arrests without looking suspicious.

This goes on more than you think! So many compromised military, DPS, and deputies in that area according to locals.

He came back at an unknown time/location. According to the affidavit—Jaimes rear ended a vehicle and sped off. He then used the "right turn only" lane to pass traffic that was backed up— Even driving on the grassy median at one point—He then hit another vehicle head-on that was waiting at a red light. 4-year-old Alaia Rose Carrizales was partially ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. Her family stated in a gofundme page that she was a bright light in their lives and this has left their family shattered. The two adults in that vehicle with Alaia were transported to the hospital. Jaimes was too and when he was discharged, the hospital didn’t notify Texas DPS so Jaimes was walking around freely for two days before he was arrested. Jaimes was booked into the Travis County Jail yesterday and facing manslaughter charges. Right now he doesn’t have a lawyer or a court date, but that’s expected to change soon. Texas Rep. Chip Roy Press Office in a statement to NewsNation says, "My prayers go out to the family of the four-year-old killed in this tragedy. Unfortunately, this is yet another instance where we have an illegal alien accused of taking the life of an American citizen. This criminal illegal alien must face the full power of the judicial system, and if he ever sees the light of day, it should not be in America." *Pictures of Alaia provided by her family.
