The situation is getting worse by the hour. Gary has just given another update from our Night Shelter. We have now run out of emergency sleep pods, and more than 50 people experiencing homelessness have come to us tonight seeking safety. 🚨URGENT🚨 ADDY (Formerly Espresso) NEEDS A HOME… I AM HEARTBROKEN & ANGRY WE’VE BEEN LET DOWN AGAIN 😣 When we pulled Addy in September, we already had a foster-to-adopt lined up. We thought he was safe! so safe that we barely posted him bc we believed he had his forever. To make sure his transition would be successful, we invested in training first. Addy completed his training beautifully and was supposed to go home in October. Then everything collapsed 💔 The adopter told us they had a family emergency & needed time. To avoid sending Addy to boarding, we paid extra training weeks out of pocket to keep him stable and cared for. But after all of this… we are being let down again. And Addy is being let down again ! Money spent we didn’t have. Time wasted. Hope shattered. And Addy… well, still no home. We are devastated, exhausted, and yes angry 😤 He deserved better. 💔 ADDY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME anywhere in 🇺🇸 OR A FOSTER in CA or CO NOW🙏🏻 He is trained, ready, and he has done everything right. 📩 To foster or adopt: Comment or email contact@stacyhoperescue.org Please share for Addy.
