This woman was going home when she saw a car traveling slowly in the lane in front of her. She decides to pass it and be on her way. When she was close to her home she suddenly became aware that the man she passed was following her. She tried to turn around in a parking lot to head to the police station by her house but due to construction she had to pull into a parking space to turn around. The man tried to block her in, gets out of his car and flashes his drivers license at her as if he was law enforcement. She was able to back out to the left and escape as he punches her window. This man should be charged for what he did but was he also attempting to impersonate an officer by flashing his badge?

When he got to her gate to pick her up, she asked him to come inside because she wasn’t ready yet. He noticed the house was a bit messy but didn’t think much of it. While they were on their way, she started talking about women’s standards and mentioned that her ex used to give her ₦1M, and when he could no longer afford it, she ended the relationship. This woman was at a light when she noticed a black Porsche honking and pointing at her while looking at a white U-Haul van directly behind her. She didn’t think anything of it at first but couldn’t help but notice she was being followed, the police stations were too far and she panicked. She immediately drove to a busy area which was her local Costco. She decided to waste time while walking around Costco for over half an hour. When she came out she still saw the van driving up and down the parking lot while looking for her car. She waited until she didn’t see the van anymore and hurried up and left while calling 9-1-1. While she can’t prove that they were up to something, it couldn’t have been a coincidence that the were following her. I also don’t understand the point of leaving her car while they were following her, I know she felt safe inside but she wouldn’t know if they put an AirTag on her car so they could find her later right? Since she pays by the day and not the month as required, she was unaware that they don’t count her as a reserved parking member. She comes back after class to a boot on her car. They left a sticker on her window with numbers to call. When she calls the numbers, they don’t work. She gets desperate at this point, with nobody to call, she calls the 9-1-1, the first dispatcher wasn’t helpful and was confrontational. She ends up calling again and they finally send help. It turns out the police consider this a stolen vehicle because the parking garage owner illegally booted her. The law states he can fine her and ticket her but not boot her car. When the police talk to the owner, he argues with them saying it’s his private property and he can do what he wants. The police end up getting a tow truck to lift the car and they slide off the boot since it was improperly installed. She ended up losing $200 in lost wages and fees, not to mention emotional trauma. Should the owner compensate her for his illegal boot scheme?
