The real problem, he argued, is that projects often exploit ambiguity between the two structures to push token valuations far above reasonable levels. Delphi Digital co-founder Yan Liberman added that tokens may still benefit when markets are strong, but the structure can quickly break down once the business deteriorates or shareholders seek an exit.
