Today, our Attorney General Nick Brown announced a $17.1 billion settlement, with hundreds of millions going to Washington state — the biggest tech settlement in history. Meta also must implement important safety features on Instagram and Facebook designed to protect children, like daily time limits and pauses while using the app. This is a historic win for kids in our state and across the world. I’m proud to have filed the case, and proud of the hard work of our Attorney General’s team.

The proposed scheme is in addition to the UK rejoining Erasmus+ in 2027, a decade after Brexit. Starmer blames Nigel Farage for the consequences Brexit has caused and says this scheme is part of Labour's attempt to rebuild the UK's relationship with the EU.
