Yes. Her defense lawyer said Caleb texted her when they were broken up. This was after her phone was destroyed and her I pad was lost. she bought a pre paid phone at Target to replace hers. Her lawyer said she was done with Caleb, and had line up another date with a man. Caleb wouldn’t have her new number. Maybe she had another burner phone?!

They had a little meeting after Caleb send a group message to her and their pastor. He wanted to meet with both to talk about Something related to church on the Feb 14-15 (can’t remember). She then sent him a message to him asking why he wanted to canceled the church service for Easter I believe. That’s when he told her that he was going to leave Ashley etc. She decided to meet with him and started texting back until Feb 16. That’s how he got her number.

Well…if she’s not going to sit in prison with Caleb then perhaps the Smith family can file a wrongful death suit in civil court. There’s more than enough evidence in texts to support a claim for her involvement in Ashley’s death.

The “break up” and the trip less than a month before the murder that ridded herself of a technical trail by losing her computer and dropping her phone in the ocean is suspicious.
