This is what I keep saying! WNC is managed so poorly. If you cannot allocate funds, hand it to a local organization who can. If it is a problem of red tape, run through that BS like Forrest Gump!

There needs to be real accountability for whoever is messing this up. This should not be this difficult.

It's sickening that the people of #WNC NEEDED and could have used that money, yet it sat there, not used at all! WHY??? People should be held accountable! It's heartbreaking and beyond comprehension.

And also because FEMA declared all but one home on my family’s property as a business… people don’t want to help us, and a crew of people scammed our area out of resources and materials. People donated materials, but then lock them behind FEMA BS, or worse… some were reappropriated apparently. My family is set to move in here in 1-2 weeks, and we’re having to empty our pockets to get there while being considered SUS BY EVERY FUCKING ORGANIZATION BECAUSE FEMA DID US DIRTY LIKE THAT. Then when we try to make lemons and plan for a business every group is like talk to small businesses disaster loan group or whatever and they turn us down because we are NOT a Business. WTF ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?
