The Wii U acting as a tv remote was an underrated feature. I think the Xbox one tried doing something similar. But it seems the majority hated it despite being convenient.

Its been my TV remote since November since I haven’t been able to find that stupid small ass Roku tv remote anywhere

oh my god they even said ‘the all new Wii U Gamepad Controller’ no wonder nobody knew it was a new console they marketed it like a damn accessory to the Wii
