According to reports, the Main Directorate of Intelligence for Ukraine carried out a covert operation earlier today within the village of Zhitovaya near Vladivostok in Russia’s Far East, over 4,000 miles from Ukraine. During the operation, several explosions were seen and heard at a military base housing the 47th Airborne Assault Battalion, 155th Marine Infantry Brigade of the Russian Navy, which Ukrainian Intelligence has accused of war crimes near Kyiv and throughout the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Maoist insurgency in Gadchiroli district has now been effectively eliminated, and the Maoist movement in the district has almost completely come to an end. In the past, Maoists used various types of weapons and explosive materials to target security forces and carry out acts of sabotage. Taking advantage of the remote forested areas along the interstate border, they manufactured these materials and secretly buried them underground in the forests. These caches were later used during events such as Maoist observance weeks, elections, and other occasions to launch attacks on security forces. Following successful operations conducted on 23 May and 27 May 2026, Gadchiroli Police and the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) once again carried out an effective operation on 27 June 2026, successfully recovering materials that Maoists had buried in the forest. According to the detailed report, Gadchiroli Police received confidential intelligence indicating that Maoists had established a weapons manufacturing site and hidden related materials in the Balbeda forest area along the Maharashtra–Chhattisgarh border. Acting on this information, on 26 June 2026, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police M. After a long hiatus, Russia has resumed their usage of D-30SN precision-guided glide bombs in Ukraine. Yesterday afternoon, a strike was carried out on a target just north of Konotop, Sumy Oblast. It was detected late by radars, and was initially mistaken as a Kh-59 cruise missile due to the slow speed and non-ballistic trajectory. A few hours earlier, a D-30SN strike was carried out on a Ukrainian temporary deployment point in the town of Mykolaivka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Locals reported hearing a "whistling sound" before an explosion, which was smaller than any KAB glide-bomb and was only heard by people in Mykolaivka itself.
