As an Englishman, it's a bit depressing we still think we can control democracy and the sovereignty of our colonies.

I voted for Scottish independence in 2014 and have no regrets. We would have been fine as we had a competent Government back then under Alex Salmond. We no longer have that. I see the SNP as an enemy these days. They do not care about the rights of women and bairns and they would open our borders up completely to the third world. I still find it strange though why the UK Government, which mainly consists of politicians who represent English constituencies, are so desperate to keep hold of us. All you ever hear about from English people is that Scotland is subsidised and a drain on the taxpayer. Why is the UK so desperate to keep hold of us? Weird.
