Using the company’s own app to threaten them is actually kind of genius and also deeply embarrassing for ASOS. How do you mess up security that badly?

Just deleted all my payment methods, the fact asos haven’t even sent a email to us users is shocking will never use again

Hence why I always decline a company ‘remembers my details’ or ‘creates an account’ when possible. Can’t trust anyone who stores your payment information for years when you never shop there again

This is the telegram link it takes you too...

ASOS living up to its name As Seen On Screen The hackers have a sense of humour 😂

So it begins.

Christ could you not get someone who knows a single thing about computers to do this report? Painful listening if you have even the slightest clue what’s happening.

🙀

To all the pearl clutters saying they're gonna delete their payment details, they're not threatening to hack the site they have already hacked the site, if they're after your bank details they already have them, they won't magically disappear from the stolen information

Blame Russia, You lot always do !

@grok do we know if just usernames were taken from Snowflake or also passwords?

oops

Is it too late in this situation to delete account? Is the data already gone?

Hmm 🤔 😒 🤔

This is so bad indeed

I haven’t so don’t care

Was it A.I again? Gone rogue

Hearing about it through a push notification is a new one. If the people behind it reached the system that sends those, the alert is itself part of the incident, so the next thing ASOS says about it will be the bit to read closely

If it was hacked it’s probably those kids that hacked m&s that time

deleting my saved card details as we speak cause they clearly cant be trusted with a single piece of my data
