This law which requires gates to be 70% more see thru was passed when most council members weren’t old enough to drink and is one of hundreds of unfunded housing mandates that go into effect years after the council members who passed them have left office. These local laws are a huge reason why housing in the city is so expensive. Thanks to CBS New York for highlighting.

The Office of Disaster Management Call Center is now open to help with general questions and information. Reach out to the call center at: (303) 413 – 7730. Finally, we want to remind you to drive safely, and stay of the roads if possible. Drivers are reporting lots of debris in the road, and many streetlights are out. If you encounter a flashing red or dark streetlight, treat it as a four-way stop. Be safe, everyone!

According to testimony, serious concerns were raised that City Hall allegedly failed to properly coordinate or communicate with the NYPD regarding the creation of this office, while also shifting certain community outreach functions away from the department. Taxpayers deserve transparency. Why create a new bureaucracy if similar services already existed? How much will this cost New Yorkers, and what oversight is in place to prevent waste, duplication, and political patronage? I am calling for a full independent audit of the Mayor’s administration and the Office of Community Safety. New Yorkers deserve answers, accountability, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

BREAKING: Claremore, OK City Council approved plans for “Project Mustang” Developer Beale Infrastructure said the proposal could include up to three data centers built in phases. They said the proposed facilities would be air-cooled and use about 20,000 gallons of water per day. Company representatives also said the facility’s noise levels would be comparable to a quiet office environment. The developer said it would cover 100% of costs associated with power infrastructure tied to the project. Vote these MF out

They have filed legal papers in London, arguing the policy amounts to “religious discrimination” against Freemasons. Police officials say anyone who is, or has been, part of a hierarchical organization that requires members to support and protect one another must declare it.
