No. Banks will loose control if they adopt a CBDC. Central banks are loosing control and that is a good thing!

She wants central banks to be “the anchor”. Well, we already have crypto, a far bigger, more reliable, more transparent and more honest anchor. ⚓️ She ironically misses the bigger point that bank failures and money printing are what got us into this problem in the first place. You can’t keep repeating the same mistake and expect a different outcome. And yet she tries.

CBDC is a tyrannic method of control over people, it removes their freedom and financial sovereignty. In Nigeria people are limited to use cash, they are forced to use their #CBDC instead and guess what #Bitcoin ✊ very wanted trades for a big premium. EU won't be different!
