ECI should provide livestream of the CCTV footage of counting rooms on its website. It would be a great step towards transparency in the electoral process. Many democracies, globally, follow this practice. See here the 24X7 livestream of the counting room of Maricopa county, Arizona in the US.

"Senator Ron Johnson is working hard with Senate Republican Leadership to adopt a Budget Resolution before the August recess. This is the first step towards getting as much of THE SAVE AMERICA ACT as possible in a Budget Bill, funding our Troops, and helping our Farmers. I am calling on the Senate to get this critical first step done before the August recess. This Resolution can be adopted at a simple Majority threshold. GET IT DONE! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP"

President Trump says RFK Jr. and the MAHA movement will be a major force for Republicans in the midterms. “I read an article today where they think Bobby is going to be really great for the Republican Party in the midterms.” “So I have to be very careful that Bobby likes us.” “But we’re letting you do your job.” “And you're doing a great job.” Trump said the quiet part out loud: MAHA is now a major political force in DC, and in low turnout elections it can decide races. If Republicans want to win this fall, embracing MAHA policies makes sense. Democrats should take note too.

🚨 BREAKING: SCOTUS Allows Late Ballots in 30+ States — (Video: AI) How ridiculous is it that ballots arriving after Election Day can still be counted in Mississippi and roughly 30 other states? The Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling (written by Justice Barrett) lets states keep counting absentee ballots mailed by Election Day but received days later. This creates uncertainty and opens the door to questions about election integrity. Shame on SCOTUS for failing to enforce a clear, uniform Election Day deadline. Do you think ballots arriving after Election Day should be counted, or does this undermine trust in our elections?

📜 Lavrov just accidentally destroyed Russia’s own legitimacy “If an agreement is signed by people whose legitimacy is uncertain, their successors may question it,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, referring to President Zelenskyi. Let’s pause here. Because in trying to undermine Ukraine, Lavrov just undermined the entire Russian state. If legitimacy determines the weight of international agreements, then Russia has no legal standing left. Let’s review: ◾ Putin has violated the Russian constitution by clinging to power beyond two terms, rewriting laws to suit himself. ◾ Elections in Russia are a performance — opposition jailed, media silenced, ballots rigged. ◾ The Kremlin staged illegal referenda in occupied Ukrainian territories — territories where they had no right to be, and where even the idea of “voting” under occupation is obscene. ◾ Russia has annexed land through war crimes. And yet it claims to “uphold law”? So when Lavrov questions Zelenskyi’s legitimacy — a president elected in free, democratic elections recognized by the entire world — he’s not making a legal argument. He’s projecting Russia’s own collapse of legality onto others. This is the classic tactic of dictatorships: accuse your enemy of your own sins. But in doing so, Lavrov just admitted that any future deals with Russia can be voided too — because their own system is built on fraud, violence, and constitutional rot. In other words: If agreements are only valid when leaders are legitimate — then no treaty with Russia is worth the paper it’s printed on. #Ukraine #Russia #Russians

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: A vote for Sliwa is a vote for Mamdani. And here’s the proof: just this past March, Sliwa was openly supporting Mamdani to be the elected Democratic representative. …So, is Sliwa staying in this race just to help Mamdani win? We are so close to winning this election, even with Sliwa still in the race, but it will only happen if everyone gets out and votes. Today is the last day of early voting and Election Day is this Tuesday. Take the time. Make your voice heard. Let’s WIN this. 💪🏻🗳️ #VoteforCuomo

The highlight of the past election was how technology disrupted ZANU PF's rigging strategy. They used ZANU PF's member register to move those who are not their members from their traditional polling stations in cities. They gerrymandered the electoral maps and then created double candidates. In every step, Team Pachedu followed them and highlighted these discrepencies and pointed areas of focus. Zimbabwe Electoral Commission refused with the voters roll. Pple didn't know where to vote & the double candidates made it so they don't know who to vote for. A week before elections we released CredibleVote Bots on Whatsapp and Android which completely disrupted the ZEC-ZANU plan. 487 000 pple checked where & who to vote for in 5 days and 84% of these were in Hre, 10% in Byo. By our calculation, CCC wld hve potentially lost 32 seats without this. On election day, CredibleVote had 2 war rooms. One in Mashonaland & the other Matabeleland far away cities powered by satellite internet. We deployed Meshtastic repeaters across the country to cover areas without network. Maximum range we got was 53km but repeaters made it we cld get results from 150km away. We also had MQTT servers that relayed this info to our result servers. All this work was done by volunteers outside of CCC. The only thing we asked of CCC was that they shld have polling agents at every polling station. Then the issue of resources came up. We again built the #Mazizi platform to crowdsource from supporters & that raised $105K which was miniscule compared to the need. This setup was novel and it was a culmination of 2yrs of planning, coding & deployment by pple who didn't have a stake in CCC. I believe ZANU PF & the State machinery never knew abt our work. They raided ZESN probably after the noise by Team Pachedu about Mandla. That did not affect the Crediblevote work at all. Results were coming in from our network , from CCC agents and we also opened a crowd platform for anyone to send V11. In the backend we were using computer vision & language models to read V11s & sort them. There were 3 tiers of validation. Our roving agents had highest trust, then CCC agents, then the crowd. In the first 48hrs after elections, we received & validated results from 10500 polling stations. We got a further 1600 from CCC as some agents chose to hand deliver their V11 etc... I had a meeting with Nelson Chamisa & presented him with what we had. We had close to 350 V11s from Mash East & West which had no stamps and the agents were saying ZEC had said they didn't have stamps but ZANU PF agents were bringing stamped V11 pointing to conniving with Zimbabwe Electoral Commission NC, said we shld wait for ZEC to release their results. Unlike in 2018, Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chose to not release their results from each polling station. They used bruteforce to ram unsubstantiated numbers to pple. The responsibility of a credible election lies on the electoral board and nobody else. We had a debate as to whether we shld just release all the ~12100 results we had or not. The SADC report came out and it became clear that the most logical thing to do was reject the whole process & all results given the irregularities that SADC also acknowledged. I was shocked & distraught when folks chose to go parliament. In the end, I think the gun prevailed as it always temporarily does. What we showed is that no process run by the military can ever wield a product that represents the will of the pple. I have written this to highlight the power of volunteers, technology & commitment in challenging autocratic systems. I hope in future others will build on top of our work. I wish I cld thank all the volunteers by name but you know yourselves.

I met with the President of Moldova Maia Sandu. We discussed steps toward achieving a sustainable peace and strengthening our bilateral cooperation. For Ukraine, the current priority is a full ceasefire lasting at least 30 days. This should establish a foundation for diplomacy. We also addressed energy security, European integration, the impact of recent elections in Europe on political processes, and hybrid threats from Russia. I thank Maia Sandu and all the people of Moldova for their support of Ukraine and their readiness to continue moving shoulder to shoulder with us in the European integration process.

❗️❗️🇺🇦 #BREAKING Volodymyr Zelenskyy: 📌 “Ukraine has clear ‘red lines’ — first and foremost, these concern its territories and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Under no circumstances will Ukraine legally recognize the occupation of its lands.” ➡️ “Any potential decisions on sensitive issues will be made only after consultations with society — through public discussion, a referendum, or legislative changes.” ➡️ “Security guarantees remain the key issue — without them, any compromise is impossible.” ➡️ “Under the current conditions of ongoing attacks and war, it is impossible to hold elections or referendums. Moscow will raise the issue of voting by Ukrainians currently in Russia in order to cast doubt on the legitimacy of elections in Ukraine.” 📌 “Russia has already set itself the task of doing everything possible to ensure that Ukrainians located on Russian territory, as well as in temporarily occupied territories, are able to vote. Why are they doing this? The objective is to ensure that the argument is raised that a large number of people live there and have voting rights, so that Russia can later claim it does not recognize these elections or any referendum.” See the latest updates with us: NSTRIKE

Tariff revenue is generated when a government imposes a tax on imported goods and services. Here’s how the process works with a Step-by-Step Breakdown: 1.Tariffs Are Imposed The government sets a tariff rate (e.g., 10%) on specific imported products—like steel, electronics, or textiles. 2.Goods Are Imported When foreign goods enter the country, customs authorities assess the value of those goods. 3.Tariff Is Collected at the Border Importers (usually companies) must pay the tariff before the goods can be released into the domestic market. Example: If a company imports $1 million worth of goods with a 10% tariff, they pay $100,000 in tariff duties. 4.Revenue Goes to the Treasury The money collected is transferred to the government’s general revenue (usually managed by the Department of the Treasury in the U.S.). Key Characteristics of Tariff Revenue ⚠️ Paid by Importers, not directly by foreign governments or exporters ⚠️ ⛔️ Can Raise Prices on imported goods, often passed on to consumers ⛔️

🚨 LA City Council Advances Proposal on Noncitizen Voting for November Ballot Los Angeles City Council has moved forward on a measure from Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez (AI video) that would allow the city to consider noncitizen voting in certain local elections — including races for Mayor, City Council seats, and LAUSD school board seats. The charter amendment, which cleared a key committee, would go before voters this fall if approved. Supporters say it would give long-term residents who pay taxes and participate in the community a voice in local decisions affecting their families and neighborhoods. This raises important questions about voting rights, citizenship, and local governance amid ongoing national conversations on immigration and representation. Should non-citizens be allowed to vote in any elections? (Video: AI)

Enemies in Keralam. Best friends in all other states. The BJP/NDA has always said Congress and CPM are not two, but one. Randalla Onnanu. In the Keralam Assembly, they accuse each other of having a "secret deal" with the BJP. Yet in rest of the country, they sit comfortably together in the same INDI Alliance. How long do the Congress and CPI (M) think they can insult the intelligence of Malayalees with their fake rivalry? Their objective is not delivering development and welfare for all, but preserving the political status quo that has benefited them for decades in Keralam. Malayalees can now see through this hypocrisy. The historic performance of the BJP/NDA in the Assembly elections marked the beginning of a new political chapter. As I have said before, the next elections in Keralam will be a clear fight between two alliances: the BJP/NDA vs Congress/CPM’s INDI Alliance. #VikasitaKeralam #IthanuMattam #PoliticsOfPerformance
