Based on the above reports, GHMC has issued a Show Cause Notice under Section 450 of the GHMC Act, 1955 to M/s. Pradeep Constructions proposing cancellation of the Building Permission on the ground that the permissions were obtained by material misrepresentation and suppression of material facts. The application for Occupancy Certificate has been kept in abeyance pending these proceedings. No Occupancy Certificate has been issued to the said building.show more

Suppression of material facts??? Then what the hell did GHMC officials have done these many years? I don’t why not even a single GHMC employee behind the bars for approving these projects!

Similar case in my family as well......... He applied and paid the fees for building permission..... Building permission approved by Deputy commissioner.... When he applied for loan, 6 banks rejected his application saying land in FTL.... Who is the Culprit here??? is GHMC not responsible??

Solution: buyers get to keep their flats. Let Govt collect pending dues as penalty. Officials who approved need to be terminated from services and penalised even if retired. Builder should be blacklisted. Do not punish innocent buyers while culprits get away. @Comm_HYDRAA

How can govt cancel permissions that itself approved? What the heck they mean by Suppression of material facts? The onus of cross verifying the submitted documents is on govt, because it is the govt that keeps the record

What about Sri Aditya Landmark(10floors) and Sobha Waterfront(17floors)? Those are adjacent buildings! As per HMDA rules there should be 100 feet road for these buildings! I don't see any 100 feet road nearby. @CommissionrGHMC @Comm_HYDRAA

I could not understand why town planning people are not punished?

If GHMC gave permission and if RERA registered this project and 17 floors constructed already near Raj Bhavan, and now they say the building is in FTL saying there was suppression of material facts and the builder misrepresented the facts to GHMC—what are we paying taxes for? for the govt authorities to verify material facts with their records and then alone give permission to build! Such important decisions must be automated computerised without an iota of confusion by now! Its a big issue in India that when a home buyer is buying a home and paying incometax, GST and stamp duty etc, still there is no legal guarantee of clean title!

If and only if serious action is taken against every official who gave clearances, this kind of rampant violation will stop. This is a systemic failure that keeps repeating in Hyderabad. Verify RERA, HMDA/GHMC approvals, and FTL clearances thoroughly before investing.
