Birmingham council called the British flag “divisive.” Then they went to court to keep it off the lampposts. A broke council with money to take flags down. Residents with the nerve to put them back up. That’s not a street decoration argument. That’s a country arguing about whether it’s allowed to look like itself. We are watching it from Australia. Same script. Different postcode. If your own flag is the problem, what exactly are they trying to conserve?
