BREAKING: Brighton have rejected a second bid from Tottenham Hotspur for defender Jan Paul van Hecke. 🚨

Tottenham really wants to sign defenders that will help them at the back, they have learn their lessons

Brighton clearly didn't learn from the Evan Ferguson debacle🤦‍♂️

If Van Hecke leaves he ain’t going Spuds 🥔 lol that is a fact 😆😬

But I thought Romero and Van de Ven were as good as Gabriel and Saliba? 😂😂

Van Hecke said he’d leave for champions league football. If he goes to spurs he’s going to look pretty stupid

Brighton know Spurs desperation when they see it. Van Hecke’s not leaving for a second “please sell” bid.

Can’t blame Tottenham for this if anyone play £50M straight up for a player who have 1 year left on their contract are utter morons

Brighton rejecting Spurs twice for Van Hecke while Spurs are also trying to renegotiate the Palhinha fee downwards. There's a pattern here. Tottenham are the most tight fisted top club in Europe and wonder why they can't compete.

Brighton not joking with their defenders this summer! Jan Paul van Hecke is a solid engine at the back, Spurs will need to pay the right price or forget. Transfer window loading heavy! Who wins this battle? #PremierLeague #TransferNews #Tottenham #Brighton #VanHecke

Brighton be rejecting players until their market value reduce like baleba's own

How much do they want? Lol

Tottenham should go for William saliba

Brighton negotiating like they’re playing a different financial league 🧠💼

Fuc em

They are waiting for that Chelsea bid😂

We've been here before. Liverpool will meet the valuation and sign him while spurs are offering £5m less and a ride on the F1 track to the Brighton CEO.

How much was the bid?

I rarely agree with the Spurs board but i do here. The guy only got a year left on his contract so walk away Tottenham. We already got Senesi and Vuskovic coming back from a loan.

He needs to be at Madrid look at him

Brighton said if you must get him, then pay the right price for him

tottenhams gonna need to up their game if they really want him

Brighton are basically telling Spurs: “If you want him, come back with a bid that makes us uncomfortable.” 😅💰 Two offers down, and the negotiating table is still very much open.

❤️

Second bid rejected by Brighton for van Hecke 😭 Tottenham's transfer window is off to a rough start again. Brighton holding firm on their defender. What's next for Spurs? Any rumours on who they're targeting now?

Jan will still sign for Spurs.

Spurs getting rejected twice for Van Hecke says a lot. Brighton don’t just let players go easily, they set their price and stick to it. Meanwhile, Chelsea fans know that feeling too well from the other side of negotiations.

@LewisSa2710

Brighton rejected a 90mil bid from Saudi for Mitoma and now he’s worth half that probably

Seems they are not willing to sell the payer

De zerbi really isn’t messing about are spurs about to turn into another Chelsea and nick every Brighton player ?

Brighton is clear on this one. Either pay the agreed fee or no deal

Another secret bid 🤣 Only allowed to reveal Inited bids and make them up 🤣🤣🤣

Brighton selling policy: if you want him, you better really want him 👀💰
