We applaud the other civil rights groups, community leaders and interfaith partners standing in solidarity with CAIR-Florida and the Florida Muslim community. We also thank Florida law enforcement for providing security for these events. Israel First politicians and anti-Muslim bigots like Ron DeSantis are increasingly desperate to shred the First Amendment so that they can silence Americans, especially American Muslims, who speak out against the Israeli government's war crimes. CAIR-Florida and our broader organization have spent years protecting free speech, advancing religious freedom, and pursuing justice for all people in the court of law and the court of public opinion. We will continue to do so loudly and forcefully, God willing.
