Plea argues that once a family member attains a Govt or Constitutional post, their children should not keep availing quota benefits. I can give 3 examples right here on how benefits of reservations are availed by those who are no-more oppressed or without access to resources to studies. Father → Kids 1. Jaswant Dabi (ITS officer, Group A central service) → Tina Dabi (IAS, 2015 batch) and Ria Dabi (IAS, 2020 batch)— Family availed ST reservation benefits. 2. Uttam Khobragade (IAS, 1984 batch) → Devyani Khobragade (IFS, 1999 batch) — Both availed SC reservation. 3. Sanwar Mal Verma (Promotee IAS, Rajasthan cadre) → Kanishak Kataria (IAS, 2018 batch) — Family from SC category; son topped on merit but eligible under SC framework. These are just 3 examples. There may be many. Now SC has asked Centre and States to reply to a petition seeking creamy layer application in SC/ST reservations. "Every 10 years, we have a census in our country, in which every single person living in India is recorded and their details are taken down. In that, for the last 70 years, we have always asked the religion of the head of the household. We have always asked language. We have always asked caste category, SC, ST or others. The only and in the case of SC and ST, we also in the census record the exact caste that they belong to. The only thing we do not do so far is to record the caste for those who are not SC or ST. So, when we say caste census is going to take place, it means that what has always been done in the case of SC or ST will now also be done in the case of OBC and in the case of those who are neither SC, ST or OBC. So for every single household, someone would come and say, what is your language? What is your religion? What is your caste? That is what caste census means. Why is it needed? Bihar’s Post-Matric Scholarship move • Bihar’s NDA government announced 100% fee coverage (no cap) for SC and ST students in IITs, NITs and AIIMS. • Support for polytechnics, ITIs and other institutes has also been increased. • EWS students are excluded. If the intent was genuine support, collateral-free education loans for all needy students could have been offered instead of selective inclusion. Centre repeats the pattern • The Centre partnered with a physics coaching foundation to fund free coaching for 5,000 students for UPSC, SSC and other exams. • Only reserved categories are eligible; EWS is again excluded. The core issue • EWS quota exists on paper, but not in policy benefits. • True equity would be need-based opportunity, not category-based exclusion. • Long-term impact comes from better schools and foundational education, not repeated cash distribution. So the question remains: welfare-driven policy, or vote-driven appeasement?

#WATCH | Delhi: On the Jantar Mantar protest against caste-based reservation, YouTuber Ajeet Bharti says, "Our biggest demand is that the government should come up with a white paper stating that the reservations you've given to people for 80 years... I come from Bihar. Research how dire the situation of the Musahar community is. Their children aren't getting reservations. Why? Because those caste groups don't even have leaders... The second demand is quota within quota, on which the government has also said that we will not implement the creamy layer in it. Why will you not implement it? It is so absurd that the government is bowing down to those few Dalit leaders who only talk about their caste group... The third demand is minimum marks. You cannot sell the dream of a developed India by compromising on merit. If 50% of the deserving youth or boys and girls who are studying will not get admission in the IITs, IIMs, or higher education, your efficiency has reduced by 50% right there... Then the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) should be made a part of the Scheduled Castes (SC). The class whose definition says economically weaker, you are neither giving them a facility in buying the form, nor are you waiving their hostel fee, nor is their course fee being waived; what will you achieve by merely recognising it?... Markets are supposed to be based on supply and demand but with zero transparency and loopholes that have loopholes Regulators that don't regulate. So why not sell more shares than the legally issued float. But you can't have price discovery based on supply and demand if there is endless supply. Shares are a Companies Currency so it's no different than Counterfeiting money. But if you Counterfeit a $20 bill you will be breaking the law and there will be consequences. Counterfeit Millions or Billions of Securities no problem. Why❓️ Because the Billionaires don't play by the same rules in fact they don't have any rules.
