Ald. Silvana Tabares made a very important point in public comment before the board vote. CTU takes in more than $30M a year. But it spends just 17 cents of every dollar on teacher representation. The rest goes toward administration, politics and other leadership priorities. The contract with CPS is what fuels their political machine. The bigger the contract, the more money CTU can give to Johnson and his allies.

Do nothing nobody from Elgin fires an immigrant who worked his way up the ladder to make a name from himself ... shows who these revolutionaries are ... @CTULocal1 is anti-immigrant and anti-working class

This is gross. I hope those board members are held personally liable when Pedro sues and wins for wrongful termination.

Sounds like something a dictatorship would do.

Martinez, “if you want to get to know my lawyer, you will get to know my lawyer” Awesome

What happens now? Is there a vetting process for the Pedro replacement or can they just appoint someone tomorrow? If there’s a vetting process, any chance it takes long enough that the elected members have a say?

Good primer ⬇️

Manchurian Mayor … fraudulently elected. Did the work of his paymasters at CTU. Whose surprised ?
