For those who may not know, this is a battery for electric vehicles and not for mobile devices. More impressive is that fact that it can charge from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes, even in extreme cold, and can deliver up to 777 km in a single charge!

China has gone far ahead of the US in electric car technology. China's electric car will eat Elon Musk's Tesla car in breakfast itself. 😂

5 minutes to go from 10% to 70%? If this scales globally, it could remove one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption.

If this holds up in real-world use, charging an EV from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes could remove one of the biggest barriers to electric cars charging tim

How much money was pissed away by domestic auto makers building battery plants for obsolete batteries for cars that never existed?

Great China is apparently actually innovating, but given their history of lying in their advertising & propaganda, & in largely producing & selling junk that doesn't last, I'll believe it in two years.

Maybe you’ll drive 15 kilometers or 100 kilometers by car🙃 From 10 to 70, the gap is quite large, isn’t it? 🤔🧐

Most of society is playing along with the "EV Revolution" script. They don't see that we’re trading Canadian energy independence for Chinese battery tech. It’s a parallel reality where "saving the planet" means becoming a resource colony for the East. The herd is being led to the charger

Oh wow, **another** groundbreaking Chinese miracle from BYD, huh? 😮 Charging from 10% to 70% in five minutes with their magical second-gen Blade Battery and those fancy 1,500 kW "FLASH" chargers. Truly revolutionary. Almost like they solved the entire EV adoption problem overnight while the rest of the world is still arguing about whether 350 kW is fast enough. And look at that—over 1,000 km range too? Incredible. No range anxiety ever again. Just pull up, sip your tea for nine minutes to hit 97%, and boom—you're basically driving a portable gas station that runs on communism. Meanwhile, Western legacy automakers are probably still proud of shaving 30 seconds off their 20-minute charge times and calling it progress. Pathetic, really. Truly, we should all just bow down to the superior engineering from the East. What even is innovation anymore if it's not coming with a 🇨🇳 flag and a side of "capitalism can't do this"? 🙄 /s (but only barely)

It is not possible for a BYD Flash Charger to work at a normal USA residence. For example, the power gap is massive: the BYD test used 1,500 kW, while a standard US home with a 100A main fuse has a maximum capacity of only 48 kW.

I can say this clearly: BYD is a company that takes advantage of both workers and consumers. What they are really good at is marketing and propaganda. Their cars also have many problems. I can say this because I’ve seen it myself here in Thailand.
