Why wouldn't he want proof of citizenship? It's supposed to be the law. Logically, he would want it if he worked for the country and not his own personal interests.

Think about where this country is at, and what Schumer is saying. He is the minority leader in the Senate, and he is willing to screw all tax paying Americans to ensure the illegal activity of illegals voting in elections continues. This is astounding if you take a step back and think about it.
