Department of Housing Secretary Scott Turner says American needs to get back to our founding principles “To pray together, to pray for each other, and to pray for our nation — This nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. And we have a president now that understands not only the power of prayer, but the importance of people in America praying and giving back to our foundation. And so I'm honored to just be a part of it, that every single week that you can get together with 10 people, and pray together. Think about it. We have a million people a week praying for our country. Mountains move when the people of God pray. You know, there's a scripture in the Bible and it says, God can bring the high places low and make the rough places smooth and that he delights in the prayer of his people. And so I believe that as Americans under President Trump's leadership, that as we pray together, that we'll see families come back together. We'll see people that are hurting and lost to come to a true knowledge of Jesus Christ. We'll see sons return to their fathers, daughters return to their mothers. We'll see people who have been fighting and combating in chaos come back together in like-mindedness. We may not always agree, but through the power of prayer, I believe that even our enemies will be at peace with us as we serve and honor God. And so this is an important initiative, and I believe it will transform our country.”

Hey there, folks. About to go for a run here in Connecticut, and I realized today is the National Day of Prayer. I just want to say how glorious it is that we live in a country with a National Day of Prayer. It’s on our coins: “In God We Trust.” We have to understand that faith in the God of the Bible is central to who we are as a nation. It always has been. I write about that in the book Revolution. Next weekend, on May 17th, we are publicly rededicating the nation to God. I’ll be there, and I hope you will too. On this National Day of Prayer, take a moment to thank God that we live in a nation that acknowledges Him in this way. God bless you, and God bless America.

We pray for the victims of the tragic high school shooting in Perry, Iowa. I happened to be there today right after it happened, we canceled our event and converted it to a prayer & open conversation. Strikingly, the first two people who spoke to us each said they “weren’t surprised” & that it was just a matter of time before something like this happened. We have a psychological sickness at the core of our country right now.

H. E. John Dramani Mahama does not know it all. Even if he did, he cannot do it all by himself. It’ll take the contribution of each and everyone of us to help build the Ghana that we want. So let’s support him in whatever way we can. Our country is at a crossroad now and so I don’t care if you’re NDC or you’re NPP. What we must focus on now as citizens of this country is the development of the country. If you’re indeed a Ghanaian who wishes well for Ghana, this is the time. This is the time to fold your sleeves and get your hands dirty. We’ve got a country to build. We’ve got a nation to set on the path of success not just for our generation but for those to come. Sanctuary family, we need your prayers for our sweet girl Missy. 🐾 After discovering a lump on Missy’s belly, we brought her in for a biopsy and we learned that it is cancerous. She is scheduled for surgery this Monday, and we are covering our girl in prayer, declaring the blood of Jesus over her and believing in full healing and recovery 🙏 Missy is deeply loved here at the Sanctuary, and we are praying for many more days of love, treats, and time together. ❤️ We are so grateful for our Sanctuary family who always stands with us in prayer and support.
