Choked him to death?!? That is absolutely ludicrous, considering there are videos of Penny putting him in the recovery position. You talk about not having bias but you assert he was choked to death. Not to mention, Perry was assisted by two other men during the incident.

Penny, who has pleaded not guilty to second-degree manslaughter, was told to return back to court in March. On May 1, Penny was deemed a hero by subway passengers after he put Jordan Neely in a choke hold which ultimately killed him. "Mr. Penny cared for people. That’s what he did. That is his crime," a 'woman of color' who was a passenger said. "It was self-defense, and I believe in my heart that he saved a lot of people that day that could have gotten hurt." "The people on that train, we were scared. We were scared for our lives." Another passenger said he thought he "was going to die" when Neely approached.

Calling a crackhead a crackhead doesn't make you a bad person, it makes you factually correct. During closing arguments, the defense asked: "Who would you want on the train with you?" Meanwhile, the prosecution had an issue with the fact that Penny called Neely a "crackhead" while speaking with police. "The defendant, as nice and empathetic as we’ve heard he can be, seems to have a real blindspot for Mr. Neely." The Marine put Neely in a chokehold after the crackhead threatened to k*ll subway passengers if they didn't give him soda. Penny is not only a hero but is a model citizen.
