Spence would have to be a COMPLETELY different fighter in order to beat Crawford and that’s just not happening. Spence is an amazing fighter and did what he is usually does, it just doesn’t work on someone who is on Crawford’s level.

Crawford has a deeper bag of tools given that he’s a more well-rounded fighter than Spence. But the idea that Spence is a C+ boxer? Be real with yourself. This is top tier hating.

I think I understand the thinking here. Most likely due to accident and having just taken a beating in front of whole world Even a tune up fight for Spence is not a given. If he loses or doesn’t look impressive Loses interest in rematch with Bud plus takes more damage. Might as well get right to it and go out on his shield plus rake in another guaranteed pay day. When you look at it like that I can see the logic.

Spence is not a C+ level fighter, Spence was world class before the Crawford fight and still is…..it’s just Crawford is better and just special plus stylistically he is all wrong for Spence but Spence will become a world champ again.
