BREAKING: DHS has announced a new "self-deportation" plan for illegals where they will receive a free plane ticket home, as well as a $1,000 stipend once they're confirmed to have left the country. Right now it costs $17,000 to arrest, detain, and deport an illegal vs $4,500 when they self-deport.

It is cheaper to deport than to support them

This is cost efficient and much safer than catching them on the streets. It’s a win, win scenario!

At first I was against this, because I worried that illegals would just turn back around & re-enter the country $1K richer. But then I realized the border's been sealed, and it'd be borderline impossible for them to come back. All in all, I think it's a decent idea.
