If you already have a passport to fly internationally, you don’t need a real ID. You can just use that as well.

I remember people in 2015 condemned the 'REAL ID' as government overreach as part of a bigger plan for more control over its citizens. Now it looks like it's finally coming to fruition as a requirement for interstate travel.

Real ID law originally passed in 2005. 20 years later, people are still complaining though most states already offer it. I've had mine since 2018. What's the big deal?
