The CLP meeting was held, and the meeting unanimously authorized the Congress High Command to nominate a leader for the Karnataka Congress Legislative Party. After discussion, the High Command suggested the name of Shri DK Shivakumar as the new CLP leader. Shri Siddaramaiah proposed the name of Shri D.K. Shivakumar, and Karnataka Home Minister Dr. Parameshwara seconded it. I would like to announce that the Karnataka Congress Legislative Party has elected Shri D.K. Shivakumar as its leader.
