Another grave allegation has been leveled against the Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, by his former aide, Musa Kamarawa. In a second video, Kamarawa alleged that Bello Matawalle has police officers working for him who kill whomever he orders and spare whomever he chooses. Musa Kamarawa, a former aide to Bello Matawalle, swore by the Qur’an that all interactions he had with bandits and terrorists were carried out on Matawalle’s instructions. He challenged the minister, or anyone who believes he is lying, to swear by the Qur’an in the same manner. He further stated that he was granted bail during Bello Matawalle’s tenure as governor, but was later charged to court under Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration. According to him, the court eventually discharged him after failing to establish any direct link between him and bandits.
