This is the most open and transparent Presidency in history. However, the Press should have no access to walk around the PENTAGON unaccompanied. It is crazy that the Press thinks that is their right. All officers should be reschooled in how to deal with Press inquiries and keeping documents and computer files safe. I am all for requiring all government employees to re-sign secret and confidentiality agreements. I would go further and have them reaffirm their loyalty to the CONSTITUTION. Repeat background checks on those with top security clearances. We have been asleep since the Berlin Wall came down while Russia and China have infiltrated all strata of our society. We need to wake up. Neither Socialism or Communism is our friend. Both want to destroy us.

The magnitude of this specific leak is enormous because the release of the information, if I recall, was very close to the actual time the president was in flight. If this is the case, this person should be jailed immediately and the probability of collusion with the media company investigated pronto. During times of armed conflict there should be extreme consequences when you break the law. Treason is real and it's as simple as giving a reporter the whereabouts of officials. The President in times of armed conflict is acting his commander in chief role and when violations and leaks threaten lives it's not just normal law it's war time laws. A whole different set of consequences, it should and must be enforced. It's long past time for accountability.
