Everyone can thank Trump for endorsing Ron DeSantis for Florida, it’s likely the reason he won the governorship. Also, Elon voted for Biden.

It is a first time ever event to have a candidate announce a bid for President on social media/Twitter rather than traditional tv/media which is a pretty big milestone. It's kind of a dig on Trump though because Trump is under contract with Truth Social, he isn't supposed to use other social media platforms, and as expected he has said that even if he could use Twitter he would probably still use Truth. (Although I do recall there was some allowance for campaigning.) I don't think Elon is doing it for the political affiliation or that it is any kind of endorsement. Elon has said of his ideal candidate: "I would prefer, frankly, that we put just a normal person as president, a normal person with common sense and whose values are smack in the middle of the country, just center of the normal distribution and I think that they would be great." I do think an endorsement by Elon is of a lot of value but he voted for Hillary and he voted for Biden. Clearly, he sucks at voting! 😁 It doesn't really matter because #Trump2024 is going to #MAGA
