What would truly help the Middle East is lifting economic sanctions in exchange for governments implementing policies that benefit the majority of their population. This approach would be far more effective at improving people’s lives and reducing suffering than endless pressure or isolation (I know they don’t actually do this because they don’t truly care about the well-being of their citizens; I’m just stating what they should do.)
