But that doesn't mean that Europe and European countries have to be aside from these efforts. This is about European security and future. We are not simply carrying out internal reforms, nor are we simply going through a transformation. We are fighting for our state, for our independence, and for our right to choose our own path and to be Europe. And this right of ours is at the same time the right of every nation in our region. We are fighting for our freedom and theirs, for Europe for ourselves and for them – for the Baltic states and for Poland, for Hungary and Slovakia, for Romania and Moldova, and for the peoples of the Caucasus. That is why the fate of Europe is being decided here – it is being decided in Ukraine, in this war, and in how this war ends – and whether Russia will still have the strength and the desire after this war to threaten the existence of Ukraine and its other neighbors, and the entirety of Europe. That is why we must end this war with dignity and with guaranteed security. And this is what we will discuss with our partners during the G7 Summit in France, and later at the European Council Summit and at the NATO Summit in Ankara.

The European Parliament’s position remains significant to ensure that all of our agreements in Europe regarding defense and shared strength are practically implemented. We need further principled political support both for Ukraine and for the entire project of a united Europe, which is the European Union. No European nation that shares and defends common European values should be left out of European unity. In Ukraine, we have met all of the necessary conditions for the adoption of the negotiating framework in June of this year, as previously agreed, and the actual start of Ukraine's EU accession talks. It is equally important for European unity to practically work for other nations that deserve to join the EU to also fulfil their candidate status. Balkan nations and Moldova are part of Europe, and I am also confident that there will be Europe Days for Georgia and Belarus. All of this is already reflected in the positions of the European Parliament, and it is really important that they are implemented.

🇬🇧🇺🇦In a summit with Zelensky and other now-panicking European vassal states, UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer says the summit’s goal is to outline a plan to stop the fighting in Ukraine and then discuss that with the United States. Pure delusion. Starmer and these other European vassals have now deluded themselves into thinking that after screaming to keep the proxy war going for as long as it takes, that Donald Trump actually would give a moment of serious thought to what Europe has to say about the Ukraine proxy war. This was always Washington’s proxy war, the UK and Europe were simply the attack dogs on the US’ leash. The end of the proxy war and the terms of its conclusion will be decided by Washington and Moscow. Vladimir Putin doesn’t trust the UK’s and Europe’s leaders as far as he can throw them, so he will ignore any of their maximalist proposals. Donald Trump will be confused that the US’ loyal vassals are daring to try and formulate a plan of their own, and actually think it will get anywhere. The ‘plan’ that these band of clowns will reach will be given to Donald Trump on a silver platter, tied up in a beautiful ribbon. Trump will take this ‘plan’ and unceremoniously throw it in the bin and continue the only serious diplomacy going on right now, which is between Washington and Moscow. In summary, the US’ approach will be to look at this plan, toss it aside, say ‘anyway’, and continue direct negotiations with Putin. This summit is nothing but political performative pantomime for domestic political consumption in the Western European rump of Eurasia. Sir Keir Starmer is trying to be the ‘great consequential statesman’ he thinks he is, European leaders are trying to look like they’re actually doing something of consequence while the world looks at them as vassals, and Zelensky is trying to sell a false reality to Ukrainians that it doesn’t matter if the Trump administration detests him, at least the irrelevant European leaders are on his side. After promoting continuing the failed proxy war for as long as it takes for years, now this confusing, irrelevant performance of pretending to want peace.

Europe is now shaping a new global role for itself – all the events that have been taking place for almost four years now show that Europe’s role must be truly strong and effective. I am grateful to Cyprus for its support at the political level, including with regard to the negotiations on Ukraine’s EU membership. We expect the coming months to bring more progress in Ukraine’s path toward the European Union, and Cyprus’s Presidency can become significant in terms of opening clusters for Ukraine and enabling other necessary decisions. Today, I am glad to welcome the President of Cyprus, Nikos NikosChristodoulides, to Ukraine on his first visit. This visit comes shortly before Cyprus assumes the EU Presidency in January. We see it both as a sign of support for Ukraine and as a signal of our shared readiness to continue working together – for the benefit of both our states and all of Europe. I briefed the President on the situation in Ukraine, and we held a detailed discussion of our shared European agenda. The EU MUST now seize all Russian frozen assets and use those funds to allow Ukraine to defeat the illegal invasion of their sovereign nation. The time for talking is now over. Now it’s time for action with or without the United States. If you US is withdrawing its support for Ukraine it is by default withdrawing support for its European allies and should therefore withdraw its European presence.
