A Semiconductor company was planning to invest in Karnataka. They were told by the Union Govt that if they want incentives, they shouldn't invest in 'Enemy States' according to a Karnataka Minister. Usually 'Enemy States' is a term used for enemy countries, but now it is used to address non-BJP ruled states. Modi Govt is weaponizing Central Schemes to promote investments to Gujarat and only Gujarat! Union Govt is supposed to be impartial, but even Maharashtra which is a BJP ruled state is also considered an enemy state. We are not against Gujarat's development.
