I have always maintained that the rails in Nigeria should be cargo & not passenger rails. Cargo rails will bring more profit to repay the loans. Passenger rails are important but they should be within a state & not from state to state. That is a waste of resources.

Rail is what should be invested more on... even the rural farmers can be able to move crops down to the their target market easily which will reduce cost of transportation and reduce perishable crops investors loss.

Wonderful, this is nice. What is next for the @saiduaalkali Hon minister is to resume connecting the rail to the north and eastern parts of the country, and all rail should be terminated at every port in the south and dry port across the country.

Great news! Nonetheless, our rail should be tightly secured with private guards to prevent enemies of Nigeria from vandalizing the rail, thereby distorting the operation of the freight.
