It's a strategy and tactical phenomenon of vacating places where defence is low...but increasing where defence is high. Same as anticipation of someone in your house you move to a secure room/ surroundings for ambush rather than roaming in verinda

Afghan defence ministry last night officially confirmed attacks on several Pakistani posts of security forces. Pakistani sources said on Sunday that the army destroyed 20 Afghan posts, burnt some of them and that some Afghan soldiers surrendered in Kurram. There is no statement from the Afghan side after the Saturday night confirmation of attacks. Afghan defence ministry had stated that their attacks were ended at 12 midnight.
