BREAKING: Even after charging Australia’s most decorated Afghan War veteran Ben Roberts-Smith with war crimes, court documents reveal that Australian government investigators do not even have the NAMES of two individuals Ben Roberts-Smith allegedly killed in Afghanistan almost 20 years ago. Nobody has managed to identify these alleged victims - even after $300 million was spent on war crimes investigations over five years. Australian Office of Special Investigations director Ross Barnett already revealed that investigators have: - No crime scenes - No access to the deceased - No bodies - No post-mortem report - No official cause of death - No recovery of projectiles to link to weapons that might have been carried by members of the ADF - No photographs - No site plans - No measurements - No recovery of projectiles - No blood spatter Now we learn that they do not even have the names of two of the people he allegedly killed. No body, no physical evidence, no names. Looking forward to Ben Roberts-Smith’s obvious acquittal.

🚨 BREAKING BALOCHISTAN #Dulangi_Gulistan Reports of clashes between the BLA and former Afghan security personnel, allegedly operating under the supervision of members of Senator Shakoor Ghabizai’s alleged “Death Squad.” The alleged involvement of Pakistan’s ISI and military establishment in pitting armed groups against one another would amount to playing with fire. ⚠️ A civil war deliberately ignited in #Balochistan will not remain confined to Balochistan. #MarkMyWords

Crossing live to you from the Ben Roberts-Smith bail hearing. Judge will issue decision in 45 minutes. MAIN TAKEAWAYS FROM BEN ROBERTS-SMITH BAIL HEARING SO FAR: 1. Crown Prosecutor compared Ben Roberts-Smith alleged crimes to terrorism as though he were Naveed Akram. This was part of his argument as to why he should be kept in prison. 2. Crown Prosecutor alleges Roberts-Smith was planning on moving overseas without telling authorities. I have no idea what the evidence for this is considering Roberts-Smith also made repeated efforts to surrender himself to authorities. 3. Crown Prosecutor is heavily relying on the earlier defamation case for evidence. They view the Besanko findings as having substantially defined “the evidentiary landscape” and BRS’s own testimony as locked in. This is unusual because criminal trials are meant to be tried on their own evidence to the criminal standard, and the defence flagged exactly this - “this will be decided on a body of evidence that will be nothing like the body of evidence in this case”

The murder of Cst. Pierzchala is an outrage. The alleged killer shouldn’t have been on the streets at all but was out on bail despite repeated gun crimes. Listen to the OPP Commissioner who said it best. Our justice system is broken and must put victims and public safety first.
