I love that about Florida. But if the other 49 states are potentially cheating, then it's ultimately a moot point at the federal level.

Why is the @SenateGOP fighting so hard to block the SAVE America Act? Could it be that they benefit from election rigging as well? Who really believes that America is so evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats? I sure don't.

100 cases across what, 15 million registered voters. The SAVE Act is the wrong solution for a statistical hiccup with, with proper enforcement, harsh consequences. Stop making it harder for real Americans to vote and move onto real problems.

Gov DeSantis should be a model for all states. He made Florida proactive passing state laws protecting their citizens and voting rights and not waiting for federal laws.

You do realize that number is not remotely significant enough to tip the scales in an election…right? Like good for you for cleaning a couple errors off your voting rolls but it doesn’t really give precedence to MAGA talking points regarding election fraud and illegals.

Florida created its Office of Election Crimes and Security in 2022, and the state’s new SAVE Act added additional citizenship-verification and enforcement measures. And here’s the part that gets people uncomfortable: If someone isn’t a citizen, they don’t get to vote in American elections. Period. Now the question is whether other states are applying the same level of scrutiny to their voter rolls and potential violations. Because if you believe the law matters, you should want the same standard everywhere. Let the investigations find the facts. Let the courts determine guilt. Election laws should absolutely be enforced when someone knowingly votes illegally, regardless of who they are. Florida’s investigations show why verification and enforcement matter, but individual cases shouldn’t automatically be treated as proof of widespread noncitizen voting nationwide. The strongest approach is simple: investigate the evidence, prosecute confirmed violations, and protect every eligible voter’s ballot.
