Love this. I remember when Baxter gave us a tiny glimpse of his character. It absolutely made my day and helped me feel that it would all take time, but he was going to be ok

She’s trying to work out if there is another dog in there and if so, do they want to play? The gentle bark is lovely too, it’s excitement as if to say “what are you doing in my garden?”. Both really positive signs that she’s relaxed and this is her space. So lovely to see.

The tail wag

Is she seeing a reflection of herself? So lovely to see that tail wagging away. She is getting braver and happier every day. Well done to both of you.

It's a beautiful dog very similar to herself, that is just dying to play! And look at the tail....

She looks so happy, as she has done consistently over the past few days. The garden really does seem her happy place & now that her new friend has made their presence felt, I’m sure her confidence will come on in leaps & bounds. Possibly literally!

Reflection of herself?

Do you happen to have any friends with a gentle dog that could maybe pop over? It might help Sophie relax/feel more confident! Also, if the other dog is trusts you, Sophie might see that and relax even more around you, too.
