To understand how patriotic Iran’s Azerbaijanis are, just listen to the slogans of these protesters from the city of #Khoi in Iran’s Azerbaijan province. They can be heard chanting: “We are all here to sacrifice our lives; we are all soldiers of #Pahlavi.” These are the brave people of Iran whom the Islamic regime tried for years to turn into Pan-turkists in order to prevent them from joining nationwide anti-regime protests. The regime has failed. Pan-turkism is dead in Iran and has no real presence. Only a small minority of Iranian Azeris hold such views; the overwhelming majority love #Iran and are ready to sacrifice their lives for its freedom. #IranProtests
