Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić lashed out at a government minister from Novi Pazar for saying Ratko Mladić would face punishment in the afterlife. “The man is dead, why do you do that? Why do you do that?” Vučić said, adding: “You are not the minister of Novi Pazar; you are a minister of the whole of Serbia.” Vučić avoided giving his own judgment on Mladić, saying he would not get into “what history will judge, or how it will judge General Mladić.”

Ms. Jasmina Paunović, former deputy public prosecutor in Belgrade, currently recognized as one of the best known faces of „student movement“ has, 48 hours ago, appeared as the sole guest on a show, during which she expressed or visibly endorsed the following (amongst many other disgusting insults aimed at national minorities in Serbia, women, different countries and nationalities): Aleksandar Vučić is the son of Albanian Fahri Musliu. His father Anđelko is not his father. Aleksandar Vučić is, in fact, Albanian. The children of Aleksandar Vučić are not, in fact, his children. His brother is his half-brother. The son of Fahri Musliu cannot be the President of Serbia. Aleksandar Vučić is not Serbian. He is Albanian who hates Serbia. The Republic of Serbia is not led by Serbs, but by anti-Serbs. The definition of SNS (Serbia Progressive Party) voter is: stupid, but bad. And, considering that Aleksandar Vučić is Albanian who hates Serbia, his project is „population replacement“ so that there are no more Serbs in Serbia. Instead, he will settle Jewish people, Arabs and Roma populations (which they constantly refer in derogatory terms as „Gipsies“ or „Cigani“) and Serbia will thus lose its identity and become like France whose national team does not have a single white person.... and so on and so on.... this festival of racism, antisemitism, xenophobia and misogyny continued for almost full 50 minutes. Now, let me please stress that Ms. Jasmina Paunovic has received numerous awards from different civil society organizations, media, and faculties in Serbia over the past two years. CRTA CRTA has given her “Brave Voice” award, European Movement in Serbia Evropski pokret honored her with the “European contribution of the year” award (not sure that French national team would agree with this qualification), the Faculty of Law of the University of Kragujevac has awarded her with a symbolic appreciation award for the support to the student movement, the weekly magazine NIN proclaimed her “Person of the Year”. None of them, although this insane hate speech took place more than 48 hours ago, said a word about it. She is still their person of the year, their brave voice, their contribution to European values. If someone knows and understands what smear campaign and targeting looks and feels like, than it is Aleksandar Vučić, his parents and his children. Let’s at least acknowledge this for once.
