House Republicans forced Democrats to put it in writing. Lock the Supreme Court at nine justices. The amendment failed. Two-thirds was required. Only one Democrat voted yes: Don Davis of North Carolina. The rest showed you the plan. Pack the Court the second they get power. Two moderate Democrats also broke ranks on other GOP bills. Jeffries’ team called them turncoats. If the man who wants the Speaker’s gavel has to threaten his own members to hold the line, he is not strong. He is weak. It MISLED voters. And two, Virginia law requires 90 days between the legislature's second vote and voters being presented with the opportunity to vote. There weren't 90 days. The Virginia Supreme Court was petitioned by Democrats to overturn it. THEY REFUSED. The certification deadline passed yesterday without the court acting. Right now the ruling stands!
