450 illegals in one Hyundai plant. That’s not a hidden workforce, that’s the whole damn crew. Corporations cash in, politicians pretend they don’t see it, and taxpayers get played.

Will the Hyundai battery plant managers be arrested for harboring illegals?

Hard working undocumented immigrants are not the problem. The pedo president and his 5th grade educated supporters are.

These are workers, not criminals. Raids like this just terrorize families.

The Head of HR for Hyundai should be prosecuted.

So is Hyundai going to get a big fine for having a bunch of illegals working for them?

Immigrants belong here, legal or not, they deserve a chance. For centuries, immigrants have been the backbone of this nation building our economy, our culture, and our future. Now under trump dictatorship they’re getting locked in! Very unfortunate

But guys, illegal immigrants do all the jobs that Americans don't want to do ... like voting for Democrats 😂

Without severe repercussions to employers, this will continue.

If Hyundai doesn't get someone sent to prison for this, we will never get our immigration laws taken seriously. Never. Illegal alien employers are like prostitute johns, usually given a pass. And so, the rot persists. Unacceptable. @DHSgov

This guy! 😂

Deport the Hyundai HR department and whoever else hired these people Traitors

If you can't make batteries without using illegal laborers, maybe you shouldn't be making batteries

THIS IS WHAT I VOTED FOR, NOW ARREST THE OWNERS!!

ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) conducted a major worksite enforcement operation on September 4, 2025, at a Hyundai battery plant construction site in Bryan County, Georgia, detaining 475 people. The raid has been called the largest single-site enforcement operation in HSI history. Key details about the raid: Location and target: The operation focused on the construction site for a battery plant, which is a joint venture between Hyundai Motor and LG Energy Solution, known as HL-GA Battery Company. Operations at the adjacent, existing Hyundai EV manufacturing plant were not affected. Reason for raid: Agents executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into "unlawful employment practices and other serious federal crimes". Detained individuals: A Homeland Security official stated that 475 individuals were detained, the majority of whom are South Korean nationals. Other nationalities were also among those detained. Some individuals were in the country illegally, some overstayed their visas, and others did not have proper work permits. No criminal charges had been filed against the detainees as of September 5, 2025. Participating agencies: The raid was a multi-agency effort, including HSI, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Georgia State Patrol. Company response: HL-GA Battery Company said it is "cooperating fully" with authorities and has temporarily paused construction at the battery plant site. Hyundai stated that none of the detained were directly employed by the company and that it "is committed to abiding by all labor and immigration regulations". South Korean response: The South Korean Foreign Ministry expressed "regret and concern," stating that the economic activities and rights of its nationals should not be "unfairly violated". It dispatched officials to the site to assist its citizens. Political context: The raid follows other large-scale worksite enforcement actions during the Trump administration, with the president promising a sweeping immigration crackdown. This operation underscores the federal government's focus on worksite enforcement and alleged unlawful employment practices as part of its immigration strategy.

Good start

The admin stages its largest raid by kneecapping a massive foreign investment. A truly historic achievement in economic self-sabotage. A bold strategy for "winning," I suppose. Let's review the math. 475 workers detained, halting a $7.6B plant just weeks after Hyundai pledged a $26B U.S. investment in August. This isn't isolated. It's policy. As of July, the labor force was already down 1.2M immigrants, while agencies like USCIS are being militarized for enforcement. Trading prosperity for political theater. The cruelty is the point, and American workers are paying the price.

How does 450 undocumented immigrants get hired to begin with?

Hyundai is a disgrace and should face stiff penalties for not hiring American citizens. Building the strength of a nation economically relies on employing American citizens not illegals.

Now you can't even go on a business trip to the US. What is Donald Trump doing to our country?

This ICE raid is a heartless spectacle of xenophobia, targeting vulnerable workers who power our economy while corporations like Hyundai face no consequences.

We gotta start going after and disincentivizing those hiring these illegals. It’s that simple. It has to hurt and not be worth it. 450?!!!!

WTF were they thinking when they hired that many illegals!?!

The planning that went into that. Oh and hey, 450 job openings

Bye bye ! The party is over ! What about holding those who hired them accountable ?

Arrest the people who hired them too.
