It was really 3.4% in April due to an ONS error. So really inflation stayed the same.

It hasn't eased though, ons admitted April was wrong and should have been 3.4% but they dont revise previously published inflation numbers.

Marginal dip but 3.4% inflation is still well above target. With UK energy costs unchecked, there’s no relief for households under stagnant, inefficient policy.
