It matters a great deal where they are. The Iranian regime is deliberately placing children on bridges and around power plants after Trump warned he would strike military targets. They’re not “caught in the middle” — they’re being used as human shields by their own government. That’s not collateral damage. That’s calculated evil.

Bridges and power plants are legitimate military targets under international law when they support military operations. If a bridge is being used to move troops, weapons, ammunition, or supplies to the front, or a power plant is powering military command centers and missile production — then it qualifies as a military objective. The Iranian regime knows this. That’s exactly why they’re now placing children on those bridges and around those plants — to turn legal military targets into PR weapons. This isn’t accidental. It’s a calculated tactic: use civilians as human shields, then blame America when strikes happen. Their regime is not protecting children.

Scrolling through out the comments and one of the most often question is "how is a bridge military target?" Under international humanitarian law, bridges can be legitimate military targets if they make an effective contribution to military action (e.g. transporting troops, weapons, or supplies). However, even then, any attack must pass the proportionality test — the expected military advantage must outweigh the expected civilian harm. Using civilians, especially children, as human shields around such targets is a clear violation of the laws of war. The Iranian regime placing kids on bridges to protect military infrastructure is not only barbaric — it deliberately endangers its own population to shield its assets. This is exactly why the situation is so tragic and dangerous. Furthermore, in Iran: • Children are executed for “crimes” like protesting • Women are beaten, imprisoned, or killed for not wearing the hijab properly • Women have almost no basic rights • Girls as young as 9 are forced into marriage • Kids are indoctrinated into hatred and sent to die as martyrs • Women and girls are beaten, imprisoned, or killed for refusing to wear the hijab The same regime that screams “Death to America” sacrifices its own kids to protect weapons and oppresses its own women. The hypocrisy is disgusting. USA is not the ones endangering children — the Iranian regime is.
