Sounds like the US is talking out of both sides of its mouth, saying two different things. Clearly, we're involved. The question is how much? And how can we get out?

Today, we remember Reyhaneh Jabbari, a 26-year-old Iranian woman EXECUTED for defending herself against RAPE. Imagine facing death simply for saying "No"! Western women, stand with us in amplifying Reyhaneh’s voice and all women in Iran who risk everything for their dignity and rights. #ReyhanehJabbari #WomanLifeFreedom

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi's comments to Foreign Ambassadors in Tehran (2/3): - This happened while we were in the middle of negotiating with the US on the nuclear issue & the 6th round of negotiations were supposed to happen in Muscat this Sunday. - The Israeli regime knows no boundaries or limitations in violating international law. You all saw that it wasn't just innocent people that were killed in Gaza but human rights, humanitarian rights, international law were all killed in Gaza. - Now the Zionist regime crossed another red line in international law, attacking a nuclear facility. This is forbidden under any circumstances. And unfortunately it was reacted to with indifference by the UN Security Council. - Many countries, particularly regional countries, condemned this attack, particularly on nuclear facilities. I thank the ambassadors of these countries. - There were also other countries in Europe that claim to be civilized and claim to follow international law but instead of condemning Israel, they in fact made accusations against Iran, about why they were attacked. - In response to this we defended ourselves, which is our right. From two nights ago our armed forces did this & yesterday you saw new dimensions of it. This will continue. - Our reason for missile strikes on the Occupied Palestinian Territories is only to defend ourselves and confront aggression. - On the first night we only attacked military targets. Because yesterday the Israeli regime attacked economic targets, the Tehran refinery & some places in Assaluyeh, from last night we attacked economic targets and refineries in the Zionist regime. - Attacking Assaluyeh is blatant aggression and extremely dangerous. Dragging the area of conflict to the Persian Gulf region is a strategic mistake, which was likely done very intentionally with the aim to spread the war outside Iran's territory. - The Persian Gulf region is extremely sensitive and complicated and any military clashes there and could pull in the entire region and the entire world. This is what the Zionist regime started from yesterday. - We hope the international community acts to stop these crimes and this aggression as soon as possible. - The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its legitimate defense with power and our armed forces will do their duties. - I asked the head of the IAEA to hold a special session about the attack on the facilities in Natanz. It will take place Monday. I hope there is a definitive condemnation of Israel in the Board of Governors. - From our perspective Israel's aggression could never have happened without the agreement and help of the US. We have evidence of the support of American forces and bases in the region in attacks on Iran. We have significant evidence of how they've helped them that we've observed. - More important than our evidence are the statements of the American President, who in his Tweets yesterday and interviews, explicitly announced his support, explicitly said this was not possible without American equipment, and explicitly said there will be later phases. - Therefore in our view America is a partner in these attacks and should accept responsibility. - Though in our responses to the attacks by the Zionist Regime, we have focused on targets in Israel. - We don't want the war to spread, unless it is forced on us. We do not want this war to spread to other countries or the region, unless it is forced. - We didn't want this war. We were engaged in diplomacy about our nuclear program. But this aggression was imposed on us. - We will defend ourselves, a legitimate defense, with power in response to aggression. Therefore if the aggression stops it is natural that our responses will stop. - We were supposed to have the sixth round of negotiations in Muscat today.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi's comments to Foreign Ambassadors in Tehran (3/3): - In the previous round the American side had given us an offer that had problems & was not acceptable from our perspective. We had sent our views and gotten a response proposal ready to be presented in today's meeting. - In our view our proposal could have opened the path for an agreement. - It's very clear the Israeli regime doesn't want any agreement on the nuclear issue. It does not want negotiations. It does not want diplomacy. - An assault on Iran in the middle of nuclear negotiations showed the opposition of the Israeli regime with any sort of negotiations. - If you remember in previous years this matter has happened multiple times & Israel has through assassinations, sabotage, or other actions has always tried to stop negotiations. - I remember that in the Spring of 2021, while we were negotiating to revive the JCPOA in Vienna, in the middle of the negotiations Israel did a sabotage operation on the enrichment facilities in Natanz. The power equipment of that facility was blown up. The loss of power created problems for a large number of the centrifuges of that facility. All of their efforts were to stop the negotiations through this. - At that point we declared we will increase our enrichment to 60%. The reason the Islamic Republic of Iran started to enrich to 60% was a reaction to the sabotage operation of that regime in Natanz. - Then all the damaged centrifuges in Natanz were replaced by more powerful centrifuges. - What has happened now was precisely to destroy diplomacy and negotiations. We find it unfortunate the American government accompanied this action. - We received America's message from different channels in the past 2 days. That America did not have any part in this attack & will not. - As I said, we do not believe this claim by America. We have evidence that shows the opposite. - But if they really have such a claim, they should explicitly and openly declare. A private message is not enough. - It is necessary that the American government precisely declare its stance. And explicitly condemn attacks on nuclear infrastructure. This is something condemned by international law. - Our expectation is that the American government, to show its goodwill about nuclear weapons, to condemn an attack on a peaceful nuclear facility. And explicitly pull itself out of this clash and declare this. - I hope the international community will pay enough attention to this and stand up against and confront Israel's crimes, aggressions, and crossing of all principles of international law. This will be the best way to cause peace in the region and in the world. Thank you for your attention.
