In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi said he believes Iran intentionally delayed its response to the United States after Washington said that Tehran should respond quickly. He explained that when the US attempts to dictate timelines to Iran, Tehran will respond by showing that no one can tell the country what to do.
