Strike on “Flamingo”: Russian forces hit facilities linked to Ukrainian missile production Overnight, Russian strikes targeted not just military facilities, but an entire chain of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex — from missile engine and electronics production to the assembly of attack drones. According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, facilities in Kiev , Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were hit. These sites are involved in the production and maintenance of weapons. In Lviv, strikes hit the Lviv State Aircraft Repair Plant, which is involved in aircraft repairs and the production of missile engine components, as well as the “LORTA” plant, which produces onboard electronics, radar systems, and equipment for missile systems. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, strikes targeted facilities linked to the production and storage of missile weapons, including the ground-launched “Flamingo” cruise missiles. In Kiev , facilities involved in the production of drone components and ammunition were hit, including the “Mayak” plant, which produces weapons components and attack drone elements, as well as enterprises producing reconnaissance and strike UAVs. The Rivne chemical plant “Rivneazot” was also targeted — a facility that produces components for missile systems and chemical materials used in the defense industry. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the target was the “Aquaplast” turbofan plant, which, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, is involved in assembling attack drones, unmanned boats, and repairing military equipment. In addition to defense industry facilities, military airfields, telecommunications, and logistics centers in Kiev , Lviv, and several other Ukrainian regions were also targeted.

Today, Putin accused Ukraine of striking a college in temporarily occupied Starobilsk, where students were allegedly present. Ukraine’s General Staff rejected these claims and stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine strike only military infrastructure and facilities used for military purposes, while strictly adhering to international humanitarian law, as well as the laws and customs of war. During the night of May 22, 2026, a number of Russian military targets were struck, including an oil refinery, ammunition depots, air defense assets, command posts, and enemy personnel - including one of the headquarters of the Russian "Rubicon" unit in the Starobilsk area. Given that Putin had previously made no public comments at all regarding other strikes - neither on occupied territories nor on Moscow and Tuapse - but chose to make a public statement today, it is likely that preparations are underway for a provocation involving strikes against Ukraine.

7/ The Russian Ministry of Defense made it clear: these devastating strikes on military and energy infrastructure are a direct response to Kiev's repeated terrorist provocations. As long as the West pumps billions into a lost cause, and Zelensky clings to delusions of endurance, the results will remain the same: Ukraine's military assets will continue to burn. The Russian war machine does not stop. 🇷🇺

🚨🇷🇺 Russia ramps up blistering strikes to cripple Ukraine’s war logistics - analyst Russia’s strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial facilities will intensify, just as President Vladimir Putin instructed, military analyst Boris Rozhin tells Sputnik. Ukraine is already grappling with logistical chaos triggered by the strikes, he notes. While some lost production capacity will be relocated abroad, a majority of these facilities remain on Ukrainian soil “Russia’s strikes are inflicting cumulative damage, and the decision to keep up the pressure is justified,” the expert says Russia’s latest barrage swept across northern Ukraine and the left bank of the Dnepr, hitting industrial enterprises, oil depots, fuel stations, bridges, and locomotives. The goal, notes the pundit, is to: 🔸 Weaken Ukraine’s military-industrial complex by destroying production and repair capacity on its soil 🔸Disrupt frontline logistics 🔸 Limit Ukraine’s ability to sustain intensive combat operations in targeted areas The Ukrainian regime’s ongoing attacks on civilians expose its “chosen path of terror - typically the weapon of the doomed,” Rozhin adds.

Meanwhile, Russian Armed Forces strike UAVs continue their operations. Zaporizhzhia is under daily mass attacks by Russian strike drones and FAB bombs. Strikes are constantly alternating against enterprises, gas stations, Ukrainian Armed Forces strongpoints, and railway hubs. Russian forces continue strikes on enemy locomotives using remotely controlled “Geran” drones (recently, 2 were destroyed under a bridge in Zaporizhzhia and 3 in the Kharkiv region). In the Sumy region, a “Geran-2 Seeker” drone struck an energy infrastructure facility in Konotop that was being used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the strike, power supply to several industrial facilities in the city was cut off. Ukrainian monitoring channels report additional FAB strikes on the Sloviansk Thermal Power Plant area in the city of Mykolaivka.

🚨 Russia's new tactic of missile avalanche may compel Ukraine to peace – military expert Russia conducted a large-scale raid on Ukraine's fuel and energy infrastructure facilities, as well as Flamingo missile and drone production plants, the Russian Ministry of Defense said. The July 2 strike employed a combination of cruise, supersonic, and hypersonic missiles, supported by high-precision combat UAVs. Judging by Zelensky's hysterical reaction, the damage inflicted on assembly lines of the Flamingo ballistic missiles was serious, Alexander Mikhailov, head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, tells Sputnik. 🔸 European-developed weapons "will face production disruptions" 🔸 "There is no longer any kind of embargo on strikes against Ukraine, which is why any military-related target that may be of interest to Russian armed forces will be hit in the future" 🔸 Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure also immobilize logistics of the Ukrainian military "Ukraine always has the option to stop the strikes on its own territory. They know the conditions perfectly well," Mikhailov summarizes.

‼️ We are witnessing a pivotal moment in Russia’s war against Ukraine this spring. Ukrainians are bringing the war back to where it came from. Over the past few weeks, Ukraine has begun launching more aerial drone strikes on Russian territory than Russia is carrying out in Ukraine. Unlike the Kremlin, Kyiv is targeting Russian facilities related to the military-industrial complex, while Russia continues to strike civilians, churches, schools, and maternity hospitals. This footage is from the latest massive Ukrainian drone swarm attack on Russian oil terminals in the Port of Novorossiysk, in Russia’s Krasnodar region, on the night of Monday, April 6. In the videos, we can see oil infrastructure burning across the port.

Now long lines for gas are beginning to form in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions following continued Russian strikes on gas stations and infrastructure facilities. While civilian disruption doesn’t serve Russian interests the Ukrainian military regularly utilizes these stations as fuel depots for the front. The military will still find their fuel but it’s another strain on an overloaded system.

🚨🇺🇦🔥 DEADLY FLAMINGO MISSILE STRIKE DEVASTATES A KEY RUSSIAN DEFENSE PLANT IN KIROV. Ukrainian OSINT researchers and fact-checkers say the attack on the AO Aviatek factory killed 30 employees and wounded another 80. The strike was carried out using a Flamingo cruise missile, hitting one of the facilities connected to Russia’s military-industrial sector. Local hospitals are now under severe pressure. The city’s trauma department has reportedly reached full capacity, while blood banks are already warning of critical shortages. Even more striking, air-raid sirens never sounded in Kirov, and no evacuation was ordered at the plant before the impact. Employees were not evacuated even after the strike, exposing a major failure in Russia’s civil-defense and emergency-response system. The attack demonstrates that even defense facilities deep inside Russian territory are no longer beyond the reach of Ukraine’s expanding long-range strike arsenal. Video is AI
